This is a weekend meant to get you away from the noise, to intentionally set time aside to seek and hear from Heaven, and to write songs for the Kingdom. Greg Brunot

Greg is a Singer/Songwriter, Worship Pastor, and Independent Artist from Clearwater, FL. He has a passion for the local church and writing songs for the body of Christ. At the age of 19, Gregory underwent a transformative experience when he felt a divine call, pulling him away from his first passion - the drums. No longer content to hide behind his snare drum, Gregory answered the Lord's calling, dedicating himself to serving God and his local church through the gift of music. Drawing inspiration from his personal journey, he channeled his experiences into his songwriting, cultivating a heavenly sound that transcends borders.

A 2 1/2 day retreat where friendships are built, beautiful songs are birthed, and times in His presence are the focus. This was created to be a safe environment to equip, encourage, and facilitate songwriting for the Kingdom and the local church.

Thursday August 27th - 6-9PM

Friday, August 28th - 8:30AM - 6:00PM

Saturday, August 29th - 8:30AM - 5:00PM

On site lodging is available on a first come first serve basis. Please reach out to Jesseca to discuss details.

Airport Options: The retreat is located on the western slope in rural Colorado. There is no “close” airport. You will have a drive, it just depends on if you want a long scenic drive with access to the city, or a closer airport that will cost more. I do my best to help with shuttling/pickup from airports if needed.

Jesseca launched the Ready Writers Songwriting Retreat in 2024 after feeling a clear calling to create an intimate space for songwriters across the Western States. As a songwriter, worship leader, and independent artist, she is passionate about sharing what she’s learned over the past several years. She loves helping others grow in their craft, build meaningful relationships, and writing songs that serve both the Kingdom and the local church.
